St Peter & St Paul

Coleshill Town Band

Coleshill Town Band was formed in 1902 when a group of bandsmen from the neighbouring village of Water Orton decided to establish a band in Coleshill.

The band performs many engagements each year across the country and even across europe, with the quality of the music and entertainment provided being highly commended. The band has won many awards and competes at National level.

Formed in 1908, Coleshill Operatic and Dramatic Society's first production was 'HMS Pinafore' by Gilbert & Sullivan. With only a few breaks during the war years, the Society has put on shows every year since then. Since 1979 the venue for the major show of the year has been the Solihull Arts Complex Theatre, formerly the Library Theatre. Rehearsals and some concerts are held at Coleshill Town Hall which has been the base for the Society since the hall was built in 1926.

Coleshill in Bloom is a voluntary non-profit making organisation committed to helping to make Coleshill an even better town to live in.

CiB enter the Heart of England in Bloom competition each year. In 2008 Coleshill won the prestigious Small Town Gold award in the Britain in Bloom competition.
